ALTAMARE

Private yacht charter, management
and brokerage across
the Mediterranean.

Monaco · Palma · Athens M/Y SERENA — 42 m Scroll to fly

Exceptional voyages, run the quiet way.

ALTAMARE keeps a small, hand-picked fleet on the water between Monaco, Palma and Athens. We hold the boats, the crews, the berths and the paperwork — so the only thing left for you to arrange is the week.

Every yacht is managed in-house, refitted on our own yard schedule and crewed by people who have been with us for more than one season.

The fleet

Eleven boats. Three we will always recommend first.

SERENA at anchor in a quiet rocky cove at dusk

01 — Tri-deck

Serena

Our largest hull and the one that behaves best in a swell. Full-beam owner's deck, a proper galley and a crew of nine who have run her since launch.

Master cabin aboard MISTRAL with a wide window onto the sea

02 — Flybridge

Mistral

The one we put families on. Shallow enough for the Cyclades, quiet enough at anchor that you hear the water and nothing else.

Table laid for dinner on the aft deck of ALBA at golden hour

Slower, heavier, built to keep going after the season ends. Takes the Adriatic in October without anyone on board noticing.

Where we sail

Four coastlines
we know by heart.

Routes are drawn around weather and berths, not brochures. Your captain will move the week if the wind says so.

  1. 01

    Côte d'Azur

Monaco to Saint-Tropez, with the nights spent off Île Sainte-Marguerite rather than in the marina.

  2. 02

    Balearics

Palma out to Cabrera and back along the Tramuntana coast — the crossing the fleet does best.

  3. 03

    Amalfi & Aeolians

Capri early, Positano late, then west to Panarea while everyone else is still at lunch.

  4. 04

    Cyclades

Athens down through Kythnos and Serifos, timed so the meltemi is behind you and not in your face.

Onboard

Nothing on the boat is there by accident.

Teak is laid and caulked by the same yard every winter. Tenders, toys and dive kit are serviced on a schedule, not on request. The provisioning list starts from what you actually ate last time.

  • Captain and chef briefed before you board
  • Berths held in advance for the whole route
  • One contact from first enquiry to disembarkation
